Our Churches

Christ Church Is the church still in use as busy functioning church.  There are regular services here, at 9:45 on the first and third Sundays of the month.

Graveyard Plan

The attached PDF files contain and plan and a key to all the graves at Christchurch,  Thanks to Bruce and June Aiken and other volunteers for their work in producing this plan.

Christ Church graves – numbered

This is Christ Church, in the middle of the village.  It has been recently refurbished and is looking lovely again. The church is opened every day by volunteers, so you can enjoy some quiet time of reflection there if you want.

St Petrocks Church at the top of the village, which is looked after by the Churches Conservation Trust and also opened every day by a volunteer.

We only have one service there per year.  In  2013 it was on Sunday 26 May – and the Bishop of Exeter, Bishop Michael Langrish, was presiding. Here he is, with the Revels Queen Jessie Leworthy, her attendants, the church wardens and Chris Steed the vicar.
